FP never displays some generated folders (like _derived) which you can not edit
- it does display the _overlay folders used to generate the _derived folders
Normally changing anything in Nav View regenerates the _overlay folders which regenerate the _derived folder (especially after a
Tool Recalculate Hyperlinks)
You can sometimes force the regeneration by deleting the _over lay folders and running a Tool Recalculate Hyperlinks

|I tried unhiding the folders but they still didn't appear in the folders list
| in FP2003 to allow me to upload them?
| I had the same problem with pages in custom link bars not being linked
| together when I added new pages. In my case the pages were created using a
| dynamic web template. When I picked Format\Dynamic Web Template\Update All
| Pages it all worked OK after uploading. Note: it always worked if I looked
| at the site locally using a browser.
