Custom Labels

Hi everyone

Does anyone know where the specifications are stored when
you create a custom label?

Any help would be wonderful!

In my system you can store custom labels in the File menu
under print setup. Give them a name and save them.

Thanks for your reply. I know I can save them but I was
wondering where word picks them up from.
 
They are saved in the Windows Registry.

The custom label formats for Word are stored in the Windows registry at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Word\Custom Labels
where 9.0 is the Word version (here Word 2000)

Note that Word 2000 custom label formats ARE NOT compatible with Word
2002/3. You need
to rekey them for those versions.
