We are using a product called Box Office to print tickets for the local
theater group. The theater upgraded the system from Win98 to a new box that
uses XP. An Okidata ML380 dot-matrix printer (pin feed) is used for
printing. Under Win98 and Me, there is a laundry list of form sizes and one
called Custom but the list for XP is much shorter (A4, B5, Fanfold 8.5X12,
German Standard Fanfold, Legal and Letter) and the icon for Custom is no
longer part of XPs list. I checked the OKI website and it claims that the
latest driver for the ML380 comes with XP so there is nothing available from
OKI. The possibility exists that someone has overcome this problem,
otherwise, we'll be printing tickets on the Win98 box. Oh, the guy who
wrote and sells Box Office uses Win2000 and has never used XP (smart man!)
and could not supply an answer. Thanks, LouieLouie

No he isn't "smart". The fact is that the printer you're using is ancient -
why should OKI still support it?! The driver built into XP is enough to
print, but it won't have all the custom bells and whistles you had under 98.
You either purchase a newer printer, or print out under 98.
