Hello,

I am trying to use my selfmade form in outlook 2002 (inbox).
It works good, but the only thing what doesn't work is, that when I answer
an incomming mail, the systeem doesn't come with 'my' form but with the
standard of outlook 2002.
I know that I must change this by properties of the inbox, but then I get a
warning:
It is not possible to make an item in this map. (I am trying to set this by:
General / Using by posting to this map:)
Hopefully can somebody tell me what to do.

There are lots of problems with your idea:

-- You cannot make a message form the default form for a folder.
-- Even if you could, that wouldn't affect any existing items or any replies to existing items.
-- Sending replies using a custom form may cause attachment problems for any non-Outlook recipients.

Maybe you should start at the beginning and explain what you're trying to accomplish with this form.

That is a clear answer, I didn't know that

Maybe you should start at the beginning and explain what you're trying to accomplish with this form.

I made in the new form some extra mergefields so that the user can easily
organise her enormous amount of incoming emails. That was the idea behind it,
and it works except for the answers....

If you want replies to use a different form, you need to change the form setting for the Reply action on the (Actions) page of the custom form. You also would need to process all incoming messages to change MessageClass value of each message so that it points to your published form, not IPM.Note. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=62 for various ways to process incoming items.

But if you do this, you'll potentially run into the third problem I listed. That's why I recommend against your approach and would suggest using categories instead.
