If I have three pictures on one slide is there a way to
fade out two of the pictures AT THE SAME TIME leaving the
one object.
Thanks!

Is there a way you could group them and then ask for fading?
BTW, how do you fade pictures? I failed at the MS Office
Certif, but i remember one of the questions was to dim an
object after its animation.. How do you do it?
Thanks

Barry,

which version of PowerPoint are you using? In PPT 2002 it should be no
problem at all. Use the Exit animation "Fade" for both of them and set start
of the second one to "With previous".

Suzy,

you find "dim after animation" in the Effect Options of the animation
settings.

Ute

Absolutely right! And to make it easier, select the first, hold your shift button down and select the second.

After both are selected, choose the animation Exit, and set to Fade. If you want both to fade while your new one comes in, Set both to "With Previous", since the default is "On Mouse Click".

If you want them to fade after your new one comes in, then click out and back to the first to select "After Previous
