Custom Animation

Hi,
I am trying to use the "Custom Animation" to create some animation in my
ppt slides but I cant seem to get the interface that I'm used to. Instead
when I choose "SlideShow->Custom Animation" a pop-up window with the slide
objects, a preview window, and another window with "Order & Timing",
"Effects", etc. comes up.

I cant seem to get the original custom animation task pane.

I'm running MS Powerpoint 2000-SP3 version.

Can you please let me know what's wrong?

Custom Animation task panes were introduced with PowerPoint 2002 (XP) and is
available in PowerPoin 2003 too but not in PowerPoint 2000.
