How can I burn a CD from a 703 MB .avi file on my hard disk?
The maximum size allowed on the blank CD-R is 702MB. Is
there an easy way to curtail the size of the file on the
hard disk by a few MBs by cutting out titles or unnecessary
introductory scenes? My Operating System is Windows XP Pro.
Please dont suggest buying a higher capacity CD-R. Post
replies only on Newsgroup please.

you can go into movie maker and save it in another format
you can cut it in half and use two cds
you can "edit" the thing in movie maker
That is what movie maker does.
That is why there is a newsgroup for movie maker
That is why you posted here.

Many Thanks. Say no more. I had no idea about what Movie
Maker does, but now I will study it before asking questions.
