Cursor problem

I finally downloaded all of my Microsoft updates and one of them has messed
up my cursor!! I cannot highlight and select/copy anything from a website, I
cannot click in an email to begin typing (I have to tab my way
through).........all I get is the stupid HAND cursor that lets me move the
page around. I want my original cursors back but cannot seem to find out
how! I tried to change them in the control panel, no luck. Any suggestions
or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Use System Restore to a point before the updates.
