When accessing various sites requiring a User Name and a
Passoword (AOL, Hotmail, etc), I will enter the User Name,
TAB to the Password field, and start typing the password.
While typing the password, the cursor suddenly moves back
into the User name field, and part of my password is now
typed into the User field. The log-in fails, and the
password is at least partially exposed anyone within view
of the monitor.
A similar erratic cursor movement happens while typing URL
addresses, where the cursor moves back to the beginning of
the entry resulting in an incorrectly spelled address.
I first thought this might be a password stripping virus,
but I've seen it happen on too many computers, with
different users, and on different web sites.
Does anyone have any clue to what is happening?
Thank you very much.
