Cursor jumping when typing in Outlook

Hi there,

I have as client that complains his cursor jumps while typing in Outlook and
Word. Initially I thought that he might be pressing a wrong key by chance but
I checked it myself. I does not jump to a specific position but to any
position where he already typed. Has anyone experienced this or know about a
fix? I would appreciate it if you can help.

Have him go into the volume controls to mute his mic. If that works, he
has Naturally Speaking, Dragon, or whatever it's called or some other
handicapper program that is listening to convert speech to text and it
is affecting cursor positioning.
 
Hi

Is he using a laptop? If so, it might be a problem with the track pad. I
had this issue with my Dell laptop after I had to reinstall the operating
system (and apparently it's quite common on laptops). I got the latest
driver update for the mose/trackpad and this solved the issue for me.
