cursor insertion

Susan

I have a system written in Access2000 - I do not know
VB --. There are times when I tab to a memo or text field
and the cursor appears at the end of the last entry -- and
at these times the data is not bolded - which is what I
want.

Then there are times when I go to a memo or text field and
the cursor is at the beginning of the last entry and the
data is bolded (I did not select bolding).

I want to NOT have the data automatically bolded -- and
always have the cursor go directly to the end of the last
entry for a field that is filled in. Any ideas?

thanks much - Susan

If this is for your own use, there's an option you can set. Select 'Options'
from the 'Tools' menu, select the 'Keyboard' tab in the 'Options' dialog
box, and select the option you prefer in the 'Behavior entering field'
section.

If you need to do this for other users, on other PCs, you'll need some code.
If that's the case, post a reply here and I'll give an example.

Thank you. What I did was go on to each user's pc,
front end and do Tools, Options, Keyboard, End of Field ---
- and it worked. I just love Access !!
