cursor freezes

Hello all - I wanna if anyoone can help me please

As soon as I click on capture video and the capture video wizard window opens, the cursor freezes/is jerky and the picture is jerky/chopped
I am using Radeon 7500 - ATI Rage Theater capture video device
I hope someone out there will come up with a solution

the items in the checklist is about ATI Radeon capture devices.

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through everything to no avail.Here is the latest:
I have moved the hardware accelaration slider to setting 3. I now get the following messages when I click on capture video - The video device is currently in use. Close any other applications that are using the device and try again. and then this one - The video device cannot be used at this time because there has been an error when starting the device. I have moved the slider back to setting 4 and capture wizard can open but cursor freezes. Conclusion: On settings 1, 2 and 3 - i get the error messages. On settings 4, 5 and 6 - the cursor freezes. All my drivers are updated, I have the latest version of MM - I cannot understand what the problem is. Please help with any more suggestions. It is now 20 hours that I have been (non-stop) trying to fix this problem. LOL. (Scream) . I am leaving my email address this time if you want to correspond. I have faith in you.

I don't have any more to offer than the info in the Problem Solving section
of my website.... if you post some more info about your computer system,
maybe someone can help.
