Please read carefully, this is a little hard to explain...
I have my preferences set so that I am prompted to accept or decline
cookies. When that dialog box came up using Windows 98, I could put my cursor
over "Block Cookie," click, and if another box came up right afterward, I
would just click that same spot and block that one, ad infinitum.
Now I got Windows XP, and to my horror, after I clicked "Block Cookie," and
the next dialog box popped up, my cursor had jumped to "Accept Cookie," so
when I clicked again as I used to do, I now accepted the cookie I intended to
block a few times before I happened to glance at my screen.
Before you tell me to just move my cursor back, I will say I don't want to
do that. It's inconvenient and slow. Before you tell me to choose that
setting for all cookies from that site, I will say that I don't always want
to. I just want the cursor to stay where it was. Yes, sometimes I hit B on
the keyboard, but many times I just want to click and I want the cursor to
stay where it is!!
What is causing the cursor to jump like that, and how can I fix it!?
