I have the curser jumping problem and have had for some time on one of three
laptops running Windows XP. These machines are running MS office 2003. I now
have a new laptop with Win 7 running Office 2007 which has the jumping curser
issue. So I have two laptops from different manufactures running two
different operating systems and two different versions of MS Office.
I have read of several fixes none of which have corrected the problems.
Surely with as much as has been written about this issue Microsoft is fully
aware of the problem and should have a solution. What is the proper fix? Is
there a fix?

On my laptop, I disabled the touchpad and used a wireless mouse. Don't know
whether your laptop will have that Fn function mapped to a key. It all
depends on the make of laptop.
