CurrentUser()

Hello all,

I have a field (User Modified) in my table to record the user who modified
that particular record. The users will be doing all the transactions thru
forms.

Is there a way that I can record the user who modified, and how?

Based on what I read, I have to set up a security on the database, but it
didn't say how I can do to record the name of user in the User Modified field.

search for the other posting in here that has the same subject
"CurrentUser()" it's dated 1/22/06. The solution proposed doesn't require
security either, which to me seemed like a real pain to setup.
