Hi Rick

I appreciate your quick reply. But i have diffrent forms,
one doing the print job other doing the other etc. And the
queries does the job of getting the dates the uer entered.
Hence as all forms cannot have the same name, i have to
have diffrent queries doing the same job, getting the
dates. I am trying to write an sql code of
current.openform, but its giving me errors, i know i am
near it. But not quite.

Thanks

Dear Taher:

For us it is typical to put a Print button right on the forms that are
used to display and alter the data. Having a separate form to do this
seems quite odd. In every situation with which I'm familiar, this
would be unnecessary extra work, and less desirable to operate. I
won't argue that point, because I can't see your situation, but I've
never seen a situation where this would be true.

If there is a way to specifiy the form that has the focus, I'm not
aware of it. But if you're going to reference it, using something
that can specify the form with the focus would be key.
