Could anyone tell me if it is possible to use the currency format, but no
have the £ show.
If not is there anyway I can use a number format but I need 2 decimal places
and if it is for example 6.10 then I need to 0 to show. I also need to be
able to put a minus sign in sometimes

If you use a format property that is not specifically for currency then the
symbol will not appear. For example you could use a format property of "#0.00".
