Currency rounding errors

Working with currency format creates rounding errors
using math operators - example:

In Access
Qty UnitCost ExtendedCost
4 $1.49 $5.92

What it should be and works in Excel/calculators
Qty UnitCost ExtendedCost
4 $1.49 $5.96

A difference of 4 cents, which adds up when doing
finicial statments. Does anyone have a clean solution to
this problem??????????
