Hi, I hope someone can answer a quick question for me. What's th
difference between the currency button on the formatting toolbar an
Format -Cells on the menu bar? Thanks for your help:)

Hi Steve!

The currency button on the toolbar gives you the accounting default format.

Format > Cells gives you much greater flexibility.

And who on earth would want to be an accountant?

Thanks for the quick reply Norman! I don't know about being a
accountant either, more power to them.

The Button on the toolbar puts the £ sign all the way to the Left of th
cell. If you choose Format + Cells + Currency it puts it floating nex
to the numbers
