Curious Lock Computer Question - Please Help

I have several systems, both Windows XP and 2000, where if you hit
CTRL+ALT+DELETE, you are greeted with several buttons, one of which is
Lock Computer. If it is clicked, the system is locked and you are
immediately prompted for a password if you want to unlock it.
However, on one system a Dell D800, if you click the Lock Computer
button, you get a box telling you the system is locked and that if you
want to unlock it, you have to hit CAD. If you hit CAD, you are then
greeted with the identical box asking for a password like all the
other XP systems.

Is there any way to bypass this middle screen? Is this because it is
a different release of XP? Thanks a million in advance for any and
all help!

On that system, check the settings here:

Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok. Advanced
Tab - Secure Logon.
