Curious finding Hi-Res Display in Safe Mode

I've always wished that resolution in safe mode wasn't degraded to VGA
mode. Well, I recently upgraded my video drivers and just discovered that
the resolution in safe mode is now 1024 X 768. I find that quite bizarre.
Anyone else ever experienced this?

thats a good answer...i would agree with 0spam for about .234 seconds, until
i realized how stupid of a request that is...

i hope he doesn't find out how to do it and then buy a new vid card
someday...or, maybe i hope he does...lol
