Cum Update KB887797 will not install

Cumulative Update for OUtlook Express for Windwos XP (KB887797) will not
install.
When I downloaded KB887797 and ran it, the following KB887797 Setup Error:
"The version of Outlook Express you have insgtalled does not match the
update you are trying to install."
I have OE 6.00.2900.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.0403-21258).
Yet, Microsoft Update keeps listing this as an update.
How do I resolve this problem? /Howard

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
