HI there!

I have a computer having an ASUS CUBX matherboard and my HD failed... I
bought a new one and didn't work. People from the store told me that I can
not find now any disk to put to this "old" motherboard....

Is there anybody who could help me please? Is it any BIOS up-grade that
could help? And were to find it with confidance?

Please reply to: (e-mail address removed)

Thnak you in advance. Best regards,

That board supports all pata harddisks up to 128GB with a new bios (both
latest final or beta should work, though I'd suggest the newer beta).

Instead of the stock 1008 beta 4, you could also flash a modified
version with later CMD controller BIOS (and Tualatin support) which is
to be found on

You just need a special HD program to allow the computer to run a
large HD. I have a CUBX and have done it.

Check with the HD maker's website.
