Hi all.

I know that this is a very silly question, but I truly cannot find the
answer. I am using Microsoft Visual Basic .NET
55501-640-5513806-18723 under Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2002 Service
Pack 1 (KB837234).
From the "View" menu, the item "Solution Explorer" is shown as having
the hot key Ctrl+R. However, when I press Ctrl+R, the Solution Explorer
does not appear. Rather, a message at the bottom of the screens says,
"(Ctrl+R) was pressed. Waiting for second key of chord..."

Whatever these "chords" are, I don't want them. When I press a hotkey,
I just want it to work. Can someone explain how to turn this feature
off?

Sorry for such a simple question, but thank you!

Matthew

Thanks folks, but I found the answer.

Tools -> Options -> Environment -> Keyboard

Select the command "View.SolutionExplorer".
Under "Use new shortcut in", select "Text Editor".
Under "Press shortcut key(s)", press Ctrl+R and click "Assign"
If you are using a default mapping, select "Yes" to make a copy of the
scheme when prompted. Name it as you like.

That's all!
