What I need:
A way of blocking IE from creating a new window when pressing Ctrl-N, AFTER
a Flash movie
has received focus.
I got a javascript function that works perfectly when the pages itself has
focus. It blocks the
new page and messages are send to Flash.
BUT, the problem is that as soon as the Flash movie receives focus (by
clicking it or whatever), and
then Ctrl-N is pressed, the script doesnt work and a new page is created.
Clicking a button or other form element OUTSIDE the Flash movie makes it
work again.
The reason for wanting this functionality is to simulate software products.
I would greatly appreciate help on this subject.
