Ctrl+Enter does not work

One day, suddenly, hitting Ctrl+Enter does not fill in the
http:// and the .com

I cleaned out adware and did the norton thing. Now I am
trying to figure out how toget this shortcut back.

Any help would be appreciated. I cannot find a setting for
it anywhere.

Check if Auto Complete is enabled.
Open IE-> Tools-> Internet Options-> Content tab and click Auto Complete
