John

Group,
Trying to change setting to require user to Ctrl-Alt-Del
when logging on. I went to the administrator account and
the button to check this at the secure boot settings
option is greyed out. So I cannot check this option.
This is a repost.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

John

Run regedit.exe, navigate to;
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
and set the Reg_Sz string
"AutoAdminLogon"="0"

Be sure you know the password for an account that has local administrative
rights before hand)

Dave,
It was and is set at 0. Any other suggestions?

Regards,
John

Oops, mis-read your post.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Set the Reg_Dword value of "DisableCAD"
to 0 (zero)

Dave,

First of all thanks for helping me with my problem.
Second, This is strange. I can find DisableCad on my home
computer but not on this one. Any suggestions?

Regards,

John
