When i click on ctrl/alt/del in win xp professional all
that comes up is the processes screen without any options
to go to any of the other menu tabs that should be up. I
don't know how this happened or what to do to fix it. I
have tried restarting but that has not worked. I have
been running xp for months now and have never encountered
this before. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried right clicking on the taskbar and choosing task manager? If you can reach it from there, perhaps it's a keyboard issue

have already tired the system restore

Are you using the welcome screen option. Go to the control panel, select User Accounts, then select "Change the way users log on and off". Is "use the welcome screen" checked? If so, uncheck and apply options. Ctrl-Alt-Del should now work
you can also try ctrl + shift + es
try this

goto star
goto ru
type gpedit.ms
expand the menu entitled "administrative templates
expand the system selectio
select "ctrl+alt+delete options
on the right side of the dialog, there will be 3 options

remove task manage
remove lock compute
remove change passwor
remove logof

right click where it says "remove task manager" and select "Properties" select disabl

complete those steps for other 3 option
