hi all,
i have a good pc that i bought 9 months before, and i made all latest hardware/software updates...i'm using XP pro and win2000 pro with all updates done...
but i have a problem since 3 days...in both operating systems "ctrl+alt+del" is not responding....i thought that it migt be a kind of virus...i formatted my pc,i installed only XP,i tried to use "ctrl+alt+del" before to install updates and after..but result is same....it never responds...

does anyone have any idea/suggestion/advice??? if u have please help me...

thnx to spend your time to read my message...

If you mean you want to kill some running apps, don't use Ctrl/Alt/Del.
With XP, right click a blank part of the Taskbar, go to Task manager & do it
there.

Some viruses block keystrokes that might be used to stop the
virus from working or shut it down. Try a virus scanner.
Also look in the keyboard manager to be sure that one of the
keys has not been disabled.

Um, yes.
I guess I gave you an alternative as an interim solution until you find the
real problem.
That's my excuse anyway.

Guess you'd better do that virus check mentioned for the one that eliminates
keystrokes.
