Somehow this file was modified when I tried loading VPN
or PC Anywhere on my computer. I can no longer use the
switching between users. I tried to uninstall the above
but it still says its been modifed. Does anyone know how
to reset this. I tried to change in the control panel
the way users see files but I can't even get in it
because of this modification.

Not sure if this is relevant to you:
If you are getting an error that:
A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast User
Switching with a reference to CSGina.DLL

1. Start>Run
2. Type in: Regedit
3. Locate this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
4. Delete the key GinaDLL

Note you can save the registry key first by:
On the File menu, click Export.
In the File name box, type SaveKey, and then click Save.
Or create a system restore point prior to editing.
Note: If the registry key is not there, you can simply create one by going
edit > new.
