I am desperately trying to change the default in Windows Explorer. I downloaded the latest "Cscript.exe" from Microsoft but when I try to open it either from the file itself or from "Run," it flashes on for less than a second and disappears. Any advice is greatly appreciated...greatly apprecaited!

Both Wscript.exe and Cscript.exe should be on your machine.
Or you will find them in the \i386 file on your XP CD.

Cscript.exe is a command line tool. Go to Start/Run and type cmd and press
ENTER. Run cscript from there. Type cscript /? to see the usage and
switches.
