A Sad Day....
Yep, its a sad day for the members of 'Grid.org' one of the oldest projects around - effectively their sponsors United Devices pulled the plug because it was no longer commercially viable for them.
They have been keeping them in the dark for many months to be honest, promising new hardware and clients together with a new project - and then gave them 2 days notice they were shutting it all down - very nice of them
The really sad thing is the many of their members have been there together for many years building friendships, and they won't even let the forum stay open for a while longer to say their goodbyes - it closes later this afternoon
Many are indeed coming over to WCG, but most of those already have team affiliations etc so we are unlikely to see folks joining here, but you never know....
