What's the point in having a categorised listing when
everyone cross-posts? Just spend the last 25 mins looking
for help in remote access only to find crap about can't
play this or that game, can't get my DVD to work, etc -
what has that got to do with remote access?

Seems that some people shouldn't even own a PC! Worse
still, all the no-brainers that reply to the cross-posts
only make it worse (so please don't bother).

Is there anyone as MS who checks these posts now and again?

Hey, I think we're all just trying our best to find
answers to problems here guy. If your're so smart, fix
the problem yourself and stay out of the open forums.
Maybe you should sell your PC and buy a MAC :)

But you may notice that seldom do people cross-
post to the same set of newsgroups. People have
interests which overlap newsgroup categories in
differing ways. When a posting falls into several
categories, it makes sense to broaden the audience
by cross-posting.

MS is not officially represented in these newsgroups.
MS personnel may read these newsgroups, but I've
never seen a posting by someone claiming to be an MS
employee. As far as I know, the MVPs are unpaid
knowledgeable volunteers. (Please correct me if I'm
wrong on that.)

I'd rather see more Cross-posting then Multi-postng. At least with
Cross-posting, You only see the question once.
