Does anybody know how to uninstall MS' new patch (KB870669)?

It creates problems in Firefox.

It hasn't caused me any problems in Firefox. What kinds of problems is
it causing you?

Hi,

Not recommended, you should make firefox aware of this (if they are not
already). It may not be their program, but rather a nasty that is already on
your machine that uses this vulnerability. Before you do anything, ensure
this is not the cause.

Removal of the patch is not supported, but you might try reversing the
manual process described in the patch article:

Firefox has been slow since I installed the patch a few hours ago;
especially when logging in to web-mail and the like. I haven't changed
anything else since the installation. Just want to get rid of the thing.

Hi,
There's no nasties on the system, at least not according to Spybot and
Norton.

Okay, thanks.

Which version of Firefox are you using? I am using 0.9 and have found
no slowdown since installing the latest Windows update last evening.

0.9.1. It not only slows Firefox down; once in a while Firefox insists on
sending errormessages to Microsoft, then it shuts down. I didn't have any
problems before. I'm going to restore the system.

I am still using Firefox 0.9 (I did not upgrade to 0.9.1 when it came
out and probably won't based on your experience.
