My sympathies. I received the 101 error on 2 PCs both
running XPsp2 and Norton IS 2004. I had to roll back to a
restore point prior to the conflict to resolve it.

I think MS AS is a great product, does anyone know if the
compatibility issues with NIS will be addressed with the
next release? I tested on 2 machines running NIS 2004
with varied conflicts on both between the 2 programs. I'm
still trying to get them to play nice under the right
circumstances, however it would be nice if there was more
technical information out there to go on. If anyone has
resources to pass on, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

We are always application compatibility testing during this beta. I know we
are looking at a lot of Norton products, so let us know if this problem
still occurs in future builds.

Steve,
Recently whenever I attempt to open MS Antispyware it crashes a few seconds
after the applet opens. Also curiously, whenever I attempt to view any of
the groups on this news server OE crashes. I am running Norton NIS 2005 and
this was not happening until just recently so I suspect some kind of
liveupdate to NIS caused this but curiously I don't see any other posts on
this.
