Hi,
I like to see the patients who have been at hospital
within 24 or 48 hours.

For example

At the design view of query, I enter day()at criteria line
if I want to see patients at current day.

If I want to know patients who visit hospital today and
yesterday (Last 48 hours), what criteria I need to use

are you just looking for days?, as in
"today is 5/21 so i want to see records from yesterday 5/20"
or specific hours?, as in
"right now it's 1:30 pm so i want to see records from 1:30 pm yesterday".
if days only, try changing your criteria to
=DateAdd("d",-1,Date())

that will give you yesterday and today.
to go back 2 days, change the -1 to -2....etc, etc, etc.

The criteria for you date field could be >=(Now()-2)
Which will give you the last 48 hours, not days, but
hours.
