criteria NOT working

i have created a report based on a query (based on another query) for which i have specified certain criteria

the query is working but the report i have created based on that query does not meet the criteria. it "ignores" them.

what may be not working well?

It's hard to say without knowing what fields you have and what the data and
criteria are.

the original query combines data from multiple tables. then another query (on which the report is based) uses certain fields from the original query. among these fields i have set simple criteria for two of the fields: i.e. <> to a paricular field value. the query is working fine but the report isn't. if there was something wrong with the criteria shouldn't the report not be working also
