At a glance the iRoar looks quite a bit like the original Roar, making it quite different to the Roar 2. Apart from the huge 20-hour battery capacity the iRoar also claims to pack twice the power of the previous two models.
So, before we get down to the nitty gritty, we should mention the price and as you might have expected it’s a rather large one. The Roar 2 went on sale for $200 and can now be had for $170, making it a considerably good buy in my opinion. Also keep in mind it is still possible to purchase the original Roar for just $130.
Having said all that, the iRoar does come with a suggested retail price of $370… yeah I know. Clearly aimed squarely at audiophiles with deep pockets, the iRoar had better deliver on all fronts...
