creation of macro

i want to create a macro in my worksheet.

i need step by step.

In the help menu, there are instructions only upto
recording a macro.

after that what to do?

what is the nature of job i have to perform?

In case i am having a worksheet with multiple columns.

i have to create new four columns and paste the result
using a calculation in the new column. The cells are
standard and fixed.

how i can create a macro?

Try create macro in Help. The explanation is not at all bad. Even experts,
and I don't include myself in that category (g), make macros by first
recording their best approximation and then editing it if necessary.
