creating VS Studio like controls

How do you create controls like Toolbox and Solution Explorer that expands
OnMouseOver and lsides back when looses focus? Also, it has bookmark.

for free, some controls still are, I know full version is $299
 
Do you know if functionality like this will be natively supported in
the next version of the Framework?

If you mean a class in the Framework Class Library, then no, not that I
can see. The Visual Studio 2005 Beta Documentation is here [1].
