Is there anyway I can mark my titles of all of my files
(which are separate)which are on the first page of every
file and create a separate table of contents to show all
of those titles in one document.

Also I have several of the same titles within each file
and not all the files will be the TOC and I need to link
those title to the title of the files that remain. Can
anyone help me?

Thanks.

1) use proper styles, such as Heading 1, Heafing 2, etc. and
apply them to the section titles.

2) In the TOC file, use "RD" fields listing the other files of
the manual, in the order you want them to appear. Press F9 and
let it build itself .

If you can rephrase the above maybe we could understand the
question.

Hi tbrown

You can create a table of contents for titles in several files. To do
that, create a new document to hold the table of contents and use an RD
field to refer to each of your documents.

More information is at:

Hope this helps.
