I would like to create a Distribution List of a type of industry and within that industry break it down by salesrep or territory.
Example: Petrochemical
Smith, Joe
BP Chemical
Chevron
Phillips Petroleum
Bagadonuts, Joe
Sunoco
Sometimes I may not want to send out to a certain sales reps customers. Or is there another way I can accomplish this
Thanks in advance
Randy

A better solution would be to use categories to mark each contact with the
information that identifies them as a rep for a particular industry, etc.
You can then select contacts by category to generate either bulk or mail
merge messages.

No. Create a Smith, Joe category and a Petrochemical category. Apply both.
Repeat for other reps and industries. Or instead of using rep categories,
use the Contacts field to link the item to one or more reps.

Are you saying to make a category for each salesrep identifying the
salesrep and the industry so for each salesrep I'll have a cstegory for each
industry?
