A freind recently sent me some images via e-mail when I attempt to open them
a pop up message tells me "This file does not have a program associated with
it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options
control panel" I need help to do this.

Hi Mahs,

To setup file associations, please do as follow:

1. Goto 'control panel'
2. If in "Category View," Click on 'Performance and Maintenance' and
then click on 'File Types' on the sidebar.
3. If in "Classic View," Click on 'Folder Options' and then choose the
'File Types' Tab.
4. Search for the extension you want to associate a program with, then
click on 'Change' from the 'Details for *** Extension' box below.
5. If you cant find the extension you are looking for, click on 'New'
and type the extension. Click on Advanced and select the application
you want to use.

Hope this helps.
