I'VE HAD VERY LTTLE SUCCESS IN CLIPING OBJECTS BROUGHT OVER FROM PHOTOS ON MFG. WEB SITES
THAT IS TO TAKE A OBJECT FROM A PHOTO. I RECENTLY SAW A PRODUCT CALLED "FLIP ALBUM" WHERE
A PERSON OR OBJECT WAS "CLICKED" AND THEN A TRANSPARENCY BUTTON CLICKED TO ELIMINATE TH
BACKGROUND
ARE TOOLS AVAILABLE IN SOFTWARE OTHER THAN OR LATER VERSION OF WORD. I HAVE XP HOME AN
MICROSOFT OFFICE 97 PROF. EDITION

AM I IN OVER MY HEAD WITHOUT ADDITIONAL "OFFICE SUITE-WORD" TRAINING. OR IS THERE ANOTHER
TOOL

THANK YO

I haven't worked a ton with Office 97, but with office
2000 (or just word) you can bring a photo in from the web
and on the image tool bar you can use a tool that will
take out a color on the image (if you didn't want any of
a white background, or eliminate the black) you can do
that. This is also a stand alone product when you
install office 2000+

Good luck
