I have a slide I created for an email with video on it,
when I send it I need it to play the movie, will I have
to attach the clip and have the person I send it to
download the clip also?

I would prefer if they did not have to do that, we would
like it to just pop up and play, is there a way to save
it in the slide itself?

Movies are always linked, never embedded, into PPT. That means that the movie
file and PPT must go together. It might help to ZIP the files up into a single
file.

This will explain how links work (or not) and what you can do about it:

Sounds/Movies don't play or links break when I move or email a presentation
