creating powerpoint presentations on the fly

i have a client who wishes to do the following:

she has a single large powerpoint file (consisting of, say, 200
slides). She wants to provide her end-users with the ability (via a
simple graphic user interface) to select any of these slides and
compile a new presentation. The parent powerpoint file will be
supplied on CD ROM and the new presentation will be written to
the harddrive of the end-user machine.

Is there any way of doing this?

Thanks in advance

I'm sure the products mentioned by the others have value, but a simple
PP-only way would be to open the presentation (it will be read-only
because it is on a CD), switch to slide sorter mode, select the
unwanted slides, press the delete key, and save the presentation with a
new name.

Also, if you (or your client) have some predefined configurations in
mind, you should check out the custom slide show capability of PP.

I doubt this would be a "PPT only" solution. I've received a couple of
CDs from people with this type of setup. They used Flash.
