Creating Powerpoint presentation from external file

I have reports that are in PDF or RTF files that need to
be in a PowerPoint presentation.

I need to import full pages from PDF or RTF and will like
this to happen with the minimum amount of human
intervention.

Would a PPT macro be the right way to go?
Would someone have some documentation that would help me
accomplish this?
