Hi

I have produced a slide in Powerpoint which I wish to use on a website
in a picture format (ie jpeg or something). When I save the object as
a picture, whichever format of picture I use, the resolution is poor,
with lines fuzzy and text not clear.

I assume that there must be a way to create high quality picture
format files from Powerpoint (given that there is the functionality to
save as a jpeg, surely there must be a way to produce a reasonable
quality one). Can anybody help - do I need to change some settings or
something?

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? This should help
Improve PowerPoint's GIF, BMP, PNG, JPG export resolution

If you use PowerPoint 2007, you can click the office button, save as,
other format, then choose the JPG interchange format.
The picture is clear.
