Creating Photo Albums

I'm currently using fotomat.com to create albums and share pix with friends
and family. However, I do not like the small size to which it reduces the
photos. Is there a free program that allows me to create albums but keeps
the pix adaptable to full size in Windows Fax Viewer?

Thank you!

A number of on-line photo sites store (or only make available) reduced-
resolution copies of your photos.

I use a site fronted by Costco but actually implemented by Snapfish.com.
They offer the option to upload photos in full resolution, and if you
share an "album" with others, they can download in full resolution, too.

Of course, they can also order prints. ;-)

Hi Michael: (Excuse my post Lisa to ask a question).

I have a friend that has been been having his photos taken with his digital
camera developed and printed for him. He also gets a CD that has all of the
photos on it. So far no problem, However, they also give him a small 4" x 6"
photo card that has up to 35 each very small thumb nails of each of the
photos he took printed on it. I have tried to print such a 4" x 6" card and
cannot get any portions of the MS print and fax viewer wizard to give me
anything but a full 8-1/2 x 11" set of the photos when I choose a 4" x 6"
print paper and the "Contact (35 Prints per page" option.

Do you have any idea how I can print all my photos as thumb nails on a 4" x
6" photo paper, like the one my friend gets from a local photo shop ???
I am running XP (SP2) and have just about every other type of hardware you
can think of trying to duplicate that process and can't seem to get the job
done.

Thanks for any support

It would be best to start a new thread for a new topic...

Several photo printing utilities can print "contact sheets" as you
describe, but I have never printed a contact sheet smaller than
8.5"x11".

I should warn you that you may be disappointed with the resolution
of your printer when viewing tiny thumbnails. Your photo shop's
photo printer most likely has considerably greater resolution
than your home printer.

Thanks Michael for the suggestions and information. Also, I apologize for
entering my problem on this thread. I thought it was similar enough to do so
but will be more curteous in the future. BTW, I have down loaded the free
program "Picasa" from their web site (www.picasa.com) and their program is
great. It will let me print exactly what I have been trying to do. And the
thumb nails are slightly larger than a postage stamp and I am printing a
college of 24 photo thumb nails on a
4" x 6" sheet of HP glossy photo paper and the resolution is great.

Just thought that someone else reading this thread might gain from my
expierence. The program "Picasa" is one great program !!!!
