I already have a RIS server in place that provides setups for my
workstations and hopefully soon my servers. I want to be able to create
an image that will go in and do a low-level delete, like what the eraser
program does that is available on sourceforge.net.

Our organization tends to let people sign out our desktops or even worse
give them to our Surplus dept which either sells them or keeps them.
Given the study that was done by those MIT guys buying HDDs off of ebay,
I want to make sure that my drives are as clean as possible before they
leave my department. And since I am a lazy sysadmin, I would want to do
this automatically with RIS :) Its easier to find a network jack than it
is a floppy or a CD.

If anyone has any links or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you've got Syymantec Ghost Enterprise Edition, it has option to integrate
with RIS.
What it does is this.

It creates boot image and associates it with menu on the RIS server.
The image is DOS with ghost.exe and network component.
You can edit image with program such as Winimage to insert disk wiping
program.
The disk wiping program I use is gdisk.exe, again from Symantec Ghost.

You may be able to find demo versions of mentioned programs on the web.
